There are many studies which site that lower income shoppers tend to purchase generic, lesser grade, lower quality foods because lower income families generally don't live in suburban setting where prices are driven down by larger more efficient stores. Either way, unless you are buying the "junk food" of the grocery store, the fast food prices are normally lower for "like" products. Often it comes down to the cost to acquire and prepare the many ingredients needed to mimic the fast food item. See this http://www.nytimes. and that... Side: Fast Food

I could spend 40 dollars on groceries and it would last me atleast 2 weeks. I could Spend 40 dollars on fast food and it would only last me 5days cuz I'm a fkin black hole and i gobble that tasty sht down....and you would have to include gas prices because I like fresh fast food.... .> but if i lived within walking distance of fast food... And i would just bring food from home to work.... Groceries for sure Side: Food from grocery store

Even living within walking distance, you may have to ask yourself, would you even want to walk. Fast food would probably weigh you down to the point where something physical like walking becomes to much of a chore and you decide walking for it isn't worth it. Side: Food from grocery store

I am probably biased, since I have no evidence for this, but I think someone who strictly eats fast food will higher insurance rates, a higher gas bill, maybe more on clothes since they are most likely going to be bigger. I admit though, I don't know so I'll hear the opposition. Side: Food from grocery store
