For me undoubtedly the Buddha, he taught a way to the cessation of suffering and how to live a happy and meaningful life, even though his philosophy is now 2,500 years old it still is easily adaptable to modern, Western life which is why it is widely recognised as the fastest growing and resonates not just with people of Asian origin as some may think but with people of many different cultures and races who now are turning to it such as myself. 2

Although I can agree with most of the ideas of Objectivism, I didn't seem like she really agreed with all of it. Although, from an Objectvist point of view, is an evil violation of individual rights. However, she said "[The Native Americans] didn't have any rights to the land and there was no reason for anyone to grant them rights which they had not conceived and were not using." Murdering millions of natives and seizing their land would qualify as initiation of force. Other than this issue she seems to follow her own philosophy quite well. 1
