Black Holes, What's Up With That?

On the one hand it's probably the most mysterious, awe inspiring, imagination igniting thing known to man right now.
On the other, it destroys everything in it's path, and chances are somewhere in the center of our cluster of galaxies lies a massive black hole that will swallow all but the furthest stars (ours not being one of the furthest)

humbug. one generally excepted Truth of the universe is that it always has the same amount of "stuff" in it. Mass can change to energy, energy to mass, either into something in between called plasma. Things can get bigger and smaller. But the amount is always the same. If one burns a book, you can't read it any more, but all of the properties exist in some form or another, whether floating around the atmosphere as smoke, or ashes on the ground, I look at a black hole like that, it just kind of messes stuff up. I'm thinking of going to a town hall, and shouting how black holes are nazi-socialists and they weren't even born in the US anyway :) Side: Boo! Black Holes Suck!
