Why I no longer identify as a socialist or RBE supporter (100% serious this time)

If you were not so brainwashed, you would be a Conservative, because Conservatives believe in SMALLER Government! We understand that Politicians are corrupt, and the very reason why our gun rights are so important, preventing them from their authoritarian control over the people. Why do you think Socialists, Communists, and dictators alike, first take our guns? WAKE UP! You must be a Millennial not to get it. If you were not so brainwashed, you would be a Conservative, because Conservatives believe in SMALLER Government! Smaller than what? The conservative government we already have? I would love to have a smaller government than the conservative one we already have, the problem is it's already conservative. Do I need to become a DOUBLE conservative or something? We understand that Politicians are corrupt But you don't understand that corporations are corrupt. I understand that BOTH are corrupt. Why do you think Socialists, Communists, and dictators alike, first take our guns? They usually give the guns first, because that's how armed revolutions work. You must be a Millennial not to get it. Judging people based on age is ignorant. There are plenty of old fools and young smart people. 1

Yes, there might be some smart Millenials, but I meet very few on this site. I also understand that Corporations are in business to make money, and in doing so creating most of our jobs. To be so against our job creators defies rational logic. Are corporations perfect and wthout greed, etc. etc,? No, I'm sure many of them are greedy, but what are the alternatives? Government? The ones who have never created a job, and merely use our tax dollars to buy votes? People possess a selfish human nature. There are no perfect people, not you nor I! All we can do is use our freedom to work for companies that more closely share our values. We are already seeing the pressure put on corporations to provide better benefits, etc. etc. Corrupt politicians will never be the answer. Competition for good workers is the only thing that will drive change. Do most people consider themselves to be in a social contract? In my observation of human behavior the majority of people will exploit the weaknesses of others, not gratuitously but, if such an action will benefit them. This, 'me first' rationale is a congenital human characteristic which cannot be hidden nor suppressed by pinning on a sanctimonious political or religious label. Life is a competition and, generally speaking people are competitive and eager to progress up the ladder in the societies in which they live. So, they will exploit anyone or anything which will advance their opportunities of achieving success. Natural selection. The survival of the fittest is the harsh, but essential rule of nature. 0
