Why, Now A Saint, I believe what I believe

Since some idiots here seem unwilling to acknowledge my answers, I'll spell them out in detail here where I can ban people who are ignoring what I'm saying and going off in their rants against God with insults and blasphemies.  I believe what I believe because of Jesus Christ the Son of God who is God in human form sent by God the Father to pay for our sins with His own blood and He is willing and able to forgive all who will repent of their sin and believe on Him in His resurrection and receive Him as their Savior.  Your only hope without God the Savior Jesus Christ is to escape punishment in death, a fool's hope and I don't know why anybody clings to such stupidity except they are too stinking proud to admit they are not as good as God and deserve to die and burn in Hell as sinners.

Now if you don't want to believe God has the right to execute you and leave you in the fire of Hell forever, then don't believe it.  Why you believe what you believe if you don't believe God loves you enough to do what He did for you in Jesus Christ, I don't know but it's dumb and you need to be saved from Hell.

You have no idea what set free or being enslaved really means.

Jesus went out of His way to discuss slavery and freedom.

The ultimate prophesy is globalization. This will be enslaving.

You see how forceful it is. Its behind media education politics and its global, anf the toppling is aimed at Western civilization.

Slavery in history is a picture for us to understand the beast when we see it. So is also the fall Troy by Trojan Horse.

These may not be in the Bible, but they still are prophetic in reading what is spiritual by what is seen in the natural.

When ww3 occurs, people who never ever thought they would be slaves will be enslaved. And BLM will be both those who implement, in the top tier, to those enslaved, those among the general populous. It will be a new world order. And you will know what free indeed actually means.

Not centuries or even decades away, this is at the door.

Hey, it's me, jolie.... shhhh before I get banned again.

Yes, on globalization. It is coming and it will enslave us.

We need to advance the technolgy to travel to other worlds inorder to try and regain our freedom. ;)

It dies in it's wanderings. If you were God and you had set it free, it could have lived by returning to you who would be the life giver.

You and your stupid winks.

Just a friendly advice... The fear tactic doesn't work. People aren't afraid of hell, and they won't be intrigued by your religion or your god by scaring them with hell.

I am not a religious person, but I am always open for a conversation or a debate, but if you are serious when you say you want people to listen to you, then I suggest you ....

1. Lose the arrogant attitude. Nobody wants to talk to anyone who thinks they're better.

2. Stop preaching about hell and all the bad stuff, and start by telling the good things about christianity or god. If I invited you to my party by saying that I would kill you if you didn't... I doubt you'd be tempted to go.

3. Listen to me as well. If you want to be heard, then you also need to listen to others. No matter how stupid you may think I am, the only way to get me to listen to you is if you do the same.

I'll probably get banned for this, and that's alright. I'm not trying to be mean or negative, I'm just being honest.

I don't take advice from ungodly little girls. Thanks for the offer.

If you repent of your sin and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, then you begin to be qualified to give me advice.

Okay, that's fine. In my opinion you have no right to whine about people not listening to you when you not only refuse to listen to them, but also have a very belittling attitude.

My whole family is christian, I was raised christian, I have many christian friends but I have to say... You are probably the most unchristian christian I have ever encountered in my life.

NowASaint(1380) Clarified

God is not inviting you to a party. You're in your sins, not fit to be in God's presence. God wants you to admit this fact and come to Him in repentance seeking His forgiveness. If you approach God honestly with your whole heart desiring mercy, you will find His mercy in Jesus Christ who took your death on Himself and forgives all who believe on Him in His resurrection. If you will believe on Jesus, God the Son, and ask God the Father in the name of His Son to forgive you of your sins, and receive Jesus by faith as your Savior, He will come in to your heart, giving you a new heart born of His Spirit, He will live in you and be your life and you will be forgiven, a joint-heir of Christ in Heaven and there will be a place in Heaven reserved for you forever showing God is good in creating you and in dying for you to save you from your sins, save you from dying, save you from Hell. You can be a child of God and know His love forever.

But you won't, will you? Yes or no.

I know god isn't inviting me to a party - it was an analogy to explain how it feels when you scare people with hell.

I'm just telling you how you are going about it wrong, you complain about people not listening, and I gave you some advice on how they might listen. I don't see how I'm the bad guy here, I was honestly giving you advice on how to be heard.

But you won't, will you? Yes or no.

If the only way you will listen to me means I have to repent my sins to God, then I will forget about that.

This isn't about me converting to Christianity, this is about us having a debate on Christianity.

I stopped reading your diatribe after about five words or so. Right after you called anybody who does not listen to and agree with your views as idiots.

Just some advice here.... Insulting your intended audience at the outset of your statement is probably not the optimal method for compelling them to pay attention to you.

SIR!!!!! This was not intended for you, you have heard me well many times. When I made this discussion, there were a few idiots who were being extremely obtuse not listening and accusing me of not talking....you were not in that crowd. Bad manners excluded (verbal abuse by expletives) you deserve a lot of credit for actually having listened. Most of these people are too idiotic to listen. I forget who they were as I prefer to forget rather than carry a grudge, but there were a few specific ones on my mind when I made this discussion and you were not one of them.

I think the issue is that you haven't addressed whether or not Jesus is the son of God. I say this with the most respect for your beliefs and I m in no way attacking you personally. When you set out to prove your beliefs you simply state that Jesus is the son of God instead of providing logic or reasoning to back up your position. "I believe in Christianity because Jesus is the son of God." as opposed to "I believe in Christianity, part of this involves believing Jesus is the son of God. I believe this because [argument], [argument], [argument]."

NowASaint(1380) Clarified

You don't believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, you don't believe He is God the Son, that's your problem and not mine. Try to save yourself and see where it gets you if that's the way you want to go out.

I do not set out to prove my beliefs, I present the truth and you can believe it or reject it. You are the one trying to prove your beliefs, you are trying to prove that you have the right as a sinner to exist outside of Hell....a fool's lifetime pursuit.

NowASaint(1380) Clarified

I do not believe in Christianity. I live in Christianity which is the Kingdom of Heaven. What you are talking about is a religion, which is based on what you do. Knowing God is living in reality through Jesus Christ who died for my sins. This is not religion. Religion can't save you, only the Savior can save you.

The truth stands without argument, without proof. You cannot stand by arguing, you have no proof of being able to stand, your arguments can only end in death and that's all you are proving by keeping on in your arguing.

NowASaint(1380) Clarified
1 point

I have presented plenty of logic and reasoning explaining the truth of your need to be saved and the only way to be saved by God. You are not listening because you do not want to repent of your sin, you want to fill yourself with your lusts and that is what you pursue, you pursue the pleasures of sin and disdain your need of God's mercy so you get what you deserve in death as you reject God who died for you in the form of the Son of God who rose from the dead to forgive and save all who call on God the Father in the name of His Son to have mercy on them, forgive them, and save them from Hell. God wants to forgive and save you but you cannot be forgiven if you will not repent of your sin and believe God Himself paid your price so He is justified to forgive you while leaving others to fry like eternal sausages in Hell.

If this is not logical and reasonable to you, then you will wake up in Hell and there is nothing you, nor I, nor God, can do to stop you from your choice.

NowASaint(1380) Disputed

I'm glad you asked. Now I'm talking tender hearted, so give a listen. I dont' hold any grudges, I only want people to listen to hear the loving voice of the Heavenly Father calling them to return to Him and live.

I think you are the first one who asked that question. I use the words "on" and "in" carefully in my statements. The implications are vital.

Sometimes "believe in" is used meaning "believe on", other times it is plainly written "believe on".

It's like this: Picture a man walking a tightrope over a deep canyon. He goes all the way across, turns around, and rolls the wheelbarrow back over the tightrope to you. He says to you, "Do you believe in my ability to cross the tightrope with the wheelbarrow". You say "yes, I just saw you do it". Then he says to you, "get in the wheelbarrow and let's go". Believing in him is knowing what he did. Believing on him is getting in the wheelbarrow and trusting him to carry you across to the other side.

The devil believes in Jesus, the devil knows Jesus is God incarnate, the devil knows Jesus conquered death. I believed in Jesus for twenty years before I believed on Him and trusted Him to carry me across that canyon. From the time I was a young child I understood that we count the years from the time of His life because of the testimony of witnesses of His bodily resurrection. I did not have a problem believing that. It is a good story, good to know somebody conquered death so it may be possible for me to be set free from it. I knew that I was not free of death, but I thought since Jesus had conquered death maybe I could get over it too. I believed on Jesus when I was 22, when I realized i was unfit to cross that canyon and needed to be saved from falling into it. I fell down helplessly in front of God asking for His mercy, believed on His Son, and found myself alive in the wheelbarrow and I know He's taking me to Heaven.

The canyon represents what keeps you separated from God...it's your sins. Trusting the Savior is what will reunite you with God. He came down from the side of Heaven, the King of Glory took on the form of a servant and obeyed even to death, crossed that canyon and walked on the side where sin abounds. He took the sins of you, of me, of the whole world on Himself and fell into that canyon of death, paid our price, rose in victory bodily and now invites all to get in the wheelbarrow, be forgiven of all their sin, and trust Him to carry them across to His Kingdom of Glory, Heaven. He can carry you over. Believe Him, get in the wheelbarrow believing on Him, and you will be safe with Him.

I feel like I am walking on glass here... So, before I write my opinion in this Perspective Debate, could I have the rules, please?

NowASaint(1380) Disputed
1 point

It's perspectives. The rule is civil discourse. Most people on this site present themselves as incapable of engaging in civil discourse with me.

The discussion here is about my opinion, it's not a platform for you to present a contrary opinion. If you want to ask me questions for further explanation, I'll be happy to answer and if you cross the line of civil discourse which is entirely at my discretion you may or may not be banned with or without explanation. Closed minded people are not going to get along here, and people who only want to present their opinions trying to trump me are going to get the boot.

If you're creating a debate to discuss your own views, yet are fearful of other people proving you wrong, then maybe you shouldn't be on a debate site. You're complaining about close minded people while simultaneously shutting out all opposing opinions- that's being close minded.

You see Amurel asked a simple and honest question and I happily answered and he thanked me for the answer I gave. That is civil discourse. As for as I know, he is totally against everything I believe and stand on and for, but in this instance I give him credit for acting mature with me.

I don't know why you would want to think that God has the right to execute you. He even sent his own son to die on the cross just because he wanted to. Why should I listen to God when he's clearly not benevolent?

NowASaint(1380) Clarified
1 point

I don't know why you want to think God does not have the right to execute you when you are on death row, as good as dead, a dead man walking and talking and can't get out of it.

No greater love has any man than this, that a man would die for his friend. Christ died for His enemies. You can be forgiven by Him as He conquered death, you can stop being His enemy and be forgiven of all your sin as He died for your sins so you don't have to be dying for them forever and left in Hell to fry like an eternal sausage as an enemy of God.

If you think God is not "benevolent", it is only because you are His enemy, being evil, and God cannot be "benevolent" to evil or He would be a partner of evil, guilty by association, and not good. You will view God as evil because you are being evil and defying God's goodness. It is good to know God will stop His enemies from annoying His friends. It is good to know He will execute judgement and evil is punished and will remain punished as God is good and He made no mistake in creating beings who by their own desires would turn against Him and become evil.

Why should you listen to God? You really don't have a choice. If you insist on defying God forever, you will end up in the fire of Hell where there is nothing good indicating God is the giver of all good things and you will hear His name, and when you hear His name your knees will bow against your will and your tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is LORD...you will say it against your will, the only time God will force you to obey Him. If I were you, I would try to listen to Him now as He is trying to get you to come into agreement with Him regarding your sins, your need of forgiveness, how He satisfied Himself that your sins are paid for when He died in your place on the cross and offers you forgiveness in His bodily resurrection.

God gives life and all good things in life because He is good. God gives you the freedom to go against Him, do what He says not to do and refuse to do what He says to do because He is good. If you want a reality in which there is nothing good from God showing He is good, which is how you are trying to make reality now in your delusion denying God's goodness, He will let you have that reality in the only place which you will have absolute proof that God is not being good to you, the fire of Hell. You are asking for it and God is going to let you have it because He loves you and gives you what you really want.
