Why bother
I would probably be better off becoming true scum, and getting rich for it rather than trying to help people who don't want to be helped just so I can be ridiculed and be poor.
But alas, that's just not me, I am a man of true merit, and so naturally the system is trying to keep me down.
Naturally, the genius is just a freak in the eyes of the common fool.
But in truth, there's nothing more unnatural. This is how it's been socially engineered to be.
There would be a greater chance of people listening to your self righteous drivel about the present economic and political system if you accompanied your meaningless rhetoric with practical alternatives. Like all idiots who want to change the world, you can only nit pick about the existing state of affairs without having the first notion how and with what to replace it. Your juvenile bullshit has been the theme of many songs of protest for the past 60-70 years and nothing has changed, nor is it likely to change. 0

There would be a greater chance of people listening to your self righteous drivel about the present economic and political system if you accompanied your meaningless rhetoric with practical alternatives. I've personally witnessed him spend days at a time explaining to Create Debate what a resource based economy is and how it could potentially benefit society, to which disingenuous, deceitful, bitter little trolls like yourself inevitably respond by attacking him, exactly as you have just done here. In short, fuck off. Why bother Defeatism is a very dangerous mind-set to get into. Also, I think it is unnecessary. If one wants to reach the people, they have to identify where the power is at, and meet them there while wielding it. A tremendous amount of power in our society is in entertainment and sports, therefore they can function as conduits for being heard and taken seriously. Therefore, training in such as as music, art (i.e. video making, comic books, etc.) and extreme, impressive athletic feats that captures the public's attention is a potential route to being heard, if so desired. Building readily available alternatives to the mainstream, often and overwhelmingly degenerate mind-poison, is a very challenging and likely highly rewarding endeavor. 2

A tremendous amount of power in our society is in entertainment and sports, therefore they can function as conduits for being heard and taken seriously. So you disagree that such things can be/are "the opiate of the masses"? (Some) Marxists would argue that entertainment and sports are forms of social sedation specifically purposed to detract attention away from the class struggle. I think they have a fair point given how passionate some are about sport, and the inevitability that their passion would have to find another outlet were it stopped. Even dating back to Roman times many spectacles were put on for the masses to distract them from poverty or war. @BurritoLunch The message inside of the entertainment is crucial, as is the way athletic events are played/held as well as what they are intended to stand for. As of current, the overwhelming majority of entertainment and sports are a poisonous drug, though occasionally some great, positive stuff gets through. Change the entertainment==change the ideal==change the culture MLK said: "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." Also seemingly fitting, here, is "Great minds have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds". (Al Einstein) I recommend you take the one you thinks fits best and tuck it away in some dark hole, until you can feel better about yourself. ;-) 1

Also seemingly fitting, here, is "Great minds have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds". (Al Einstein) My favourite is when he said something along the lines of:- Only two things are infinite. The universe and the depth of human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the former. I am a man of true merit, and so naturally the system is trying to keep me down. Naturally, the genius is just a freak in the eyes of the common fool. Wow, so humble. Is your middle name Ghandi? It's hilarious how you and Mingi seem to believe you're a couple of genius' yet have the minds of small children fighting over the sand box. 1

It's always too easy to be the cynic. Cynicism breeds pessimism. Pessimism has no function. All we are left with and inspirationally so...is optimism. Yes, it is very difficult to change minds and almost impossible...the closed mind. Still, we all must soldier-on and do the best we can and that's why you bother. 0
