Discourse is noble, educational and helps develop and give an audience to, critical thinking, it gives all sides of a situation a voice, and just because your opponent doesn't admit defeat doesn't mean that you haven't won..

How can the argument, "there is no proof of God" be refuted?

How can evolution be refuted? How can a 4.5 Billion year old Earth be refuted?

How can questioning logical absurdities like the infinite powers attributed to a celestial being be refuted?

To prove that government loving liberals are idiots without logic and only empty morals.

can human being maintain real objective view ?

somehow both arguments do have some subjective ,personal view and stereotype!

True, human beings can never be completely objective, that is why all human action should be studied deductively.

The sole purpose of debating is to piss someone off. Once you accomplish that, you've won the debate ;)

There are many reasons for debate:

(1) It does hone critical thinking skills, if not those of the people you are engaging then at least your own as you are challenged in the way you think and analyze. Of course there no person can reason perfectly, however not being able to perfect a craft is no reason not to pursue improvement.

(2) Debate does push new ideas to the forefront of discourse and has effected social change. In some ways, yes, we are debating the same things as we have been for centuries. Yet on the other hand, debates surrounding civil rights have had a marked impact on society (e.g. civil rights movement).

(3) As with any craft, debate can also be pursued because it is intellectually stimulating to those who do it. It does not even have to have an ultimate end or purpose; it can be done for its own sake.

debate is too often emotional and personal without rational thinking!
