At a so called press conference Biden whispered into the mike, we're going to give the workingman a tax-break just as we give the big corporations tax-breaks. The senile old fool was not comparing like-with-like. A tax break for large corporations means that the government will take less of the profits which THEY, the corporations, generated themselves without any help or input from central government. The tax-break which totals $1.9 trillion, that the bumbling fool was referring to for the workingman is coming from printing money which was never earned and will drive up inflation to new and frightening heights. They don't believe the big lie.. You'd have to be crazy to believe it.. But, because Trumps base still holds sway, any one who DENIES the big lie, will get primaried.. President is a respected, honored position, there isn't anything particularly presidential about Trump, this bothers people, it should be obvious why, it is terrifying to see someone so removed from civility assume the mantle of highest civil office in the country, even the world. You are pretty hard on Biden, that's my only objection, yeah he is old, passed his prime, likely at real health risk for taking such a high stress job, but Trump was no spring chicken either, and looks like he is riddled with health problems. Why does Donald Trump still occupy the minds of so many liberals and progressives? Because the normies can now compare both of their first terms, and it's no contest. His opponent looks and acts like a drunk guy who just escaped the nursing home. They never thought it out fully that if they won in 2020, they'd just have to look over their shoulder for Trump for 12 years rather than 8. I personally think it's hilarious that Trump might win in 2024, and the Democrats will have to live with low unemployment and gas prices, pretending to be miserable for another 4 years.
