Why is so easy to yank an atheist chain?
On almost every debate an atheist is on the defense. I find this humorous as they claim they believe in nothing, yet preach like a Holy Roller.
This isn't a debate, this is a claim. I would argue that considering atheists are one of the most hated groups and are a very small group, they have more reason to be defensive if attacked. However I disagree that it is easier to yank an atheist's chain than a theist. Over the course of history, attacking a theist's position generally has resulted in, y'know, violence. Most atheists are liberals and liberalism is all about how they feel sorry for everyone and how they are going to take care of everyone and the environment. They don't want to hear, "That's God's job!" So they have to discredit God first before they can tell you that it's OK for you to get an abortion and help some young teen to get an abortion without the parent's knowledge. ;) Side: it's a touchy subject
