Wicca....
Throughout history the Wiccan religion have been frowned upon and it seem that there is not going to be the end of it anytime soon. At first this religion was called Witchcraft, But they had to change their name to get away from all of the yelling and so on. They tried to be hidden and try to hide their religion from other people. I believe that they should be able to show their religion and practices without being harrased by other people. Do you think that they should be able to express themselves with their religion or do you think that they should stay the way they are?

I don't think it should be oppressed, but I also don't think it needs to be "expressed". I am given the impression by the debate description that Wicca should become more public and common; I disagree with this. As I said before Wicca is just another bat-shit-crazy religion to me, and as such I do not not see any major positives for it becoming more known and possibly spreading. That said, I also think that it should't be oppressed as people have the right to believe anything they want to. Does this clarify my argument? Side: yes
The Wiccan Rede "An It Harm None, Do What Thou Wilt" Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them." I don't know, we let Islam be counted as an acceptable religion. Wiccan seems easier to accept just than Islam, on the grounds of letting you keep your head. I'm going out on a limb here and say Wiccan should be respected as a religion. Side: yes
