Will Sarah Palin run for the Presidency in 2012?

I have the feeling we haven't heard the last of Sarah Palin and it wouldn't surprise me if she were dumb enough to go for the whole package in 2012.  What do you think? Undecided

The answers don't match the question. It's not that she should, it's that she most likely will (which is what you asked).

She won't get the nomination, but she will run. It is likely.

To be honest, though, I don't really see any Republicans right now who I would support in 2012.

Unless Obama does something that REALLY pisses me off, I'll probably just vote for him since he already has 4 years experience in the white house and knows everything that's going on. But, if a Republican runs that really impresses me, I just might vote for him.

It all depends.

She has the inalienable right to run for president.

Yes, she's a good for nothing dumbass cougar... but damnit, she's an American over the age of 35, and she can run for president as much as she wants.

Heck, she might even run every year. ;P

She might feel compelled to run for Presidency since she was lucky enough to be picked as a Vice Presidental candidate, but I can't really recall any VP candidates that ever made it into the presidental election. Maybe they just weren't good enough; and in which case, she won't be either. But I'd like to see Hillary run again, at the very least (if she can). And maybe Michelle Obama.... there's something really intelligent about that lady...she gives good vibes.

Side: Yes, she should

If Obama runs for a second term I doubt Michelle or Hillary will opt in. Nixon was Eisenhower's V.P. and he made it to the White House in subsequent years. Except for his scandal with Watergate, it was said he was a pretty good president. Unless the Republican party has an epiphany I don't see much going on over on that side of the aisle. Even the Governor's are pretty lame duck with all their admissions of cheating and/or fraud.

Nixon was is one of my favorite past presidents. Just like a good doctor is the unsocial, introvert. A good president isn't necessarily a gem, either.

Not that they can't be, ie Obama.

I don't know.

I do know however that she would do a better job then Obama is doing right now.

But, there are plenty I would rather vote for to be honest.

We need a conservative. Plain and simple.

Side: better than what we have right now

I certainly hope so. I was rewatching old interviews with Palin the other day because I miss her so damn much. She's so funny! I'd love to see her blank, smiling face on TV screens right before the world ends.

I think she should do it. Just because it'd be hilarious. I mean, the political circus is really getting heated up these past decades. I'm excited for the next elections. It's like a superbowl of hilarity.

I am not saying she is stupid, I think that she is not the President type, I do think however that she is smarter than Joe Biden.

Tuggy do you think she's be stupid enough to run for the V.P. slot again?

I live in Alaska and I know that she is not the right person to be Pres. or Vice Pres. If she runs I am not voting for her in the primary, but I will vote for her in the gubernatorial race in 2010

I'm pretty sure Biden knows what the Bush Doctrine is and can name "Plessy vs Ferguson" when asked of a supreme court case he disagreed with.

Biden didn't know that FDR was not President and TV's weren't available in 1929.

Side: No, she's too stupid

I think she's dumb enough to try it but too dumb to make it work unless she has a very strong V.P. running with her...and I don't see that either. She's so dumb she'd probably try to pick Rush Limbaugh as her running mate and think it's a strong team!

I agree with pyg when he says the categories don't match.

I am starting to actually lean toward she will run, specifically because she is that dumb.

Now, there was a time when I thought she was smart enough to realize that she has a snowball's chance in hell of even making it through a primary.

But unfortunately, the recent news covering her (whether true or not about her post-pardom(sp) insanity certainly the email is true since they have it) makes me feel she really thinks jesus is telling her to run or something.

Now I posted the videos in a debate during the primaries, of her crazy ass getting blessed by a shaman or something because she thought witches were hexing her, but I honestly thought that was a show for the wackos, and she never thought the video would surface.

But it seems to me at least, she's not only playing along with the looney tunes for votes, she really is one of them.

1. I personally believe her to be unqualified for the presidency, as well as generally annoying and unappealing. So as for if she should run, I say no, there are many other republicans I would rather see in the race than her.

2. As to whether she will run, I think the answer is yes, but I doubt she will win the nomination of the party. I think at this point it is almost settled that her future includes an attempt at the presidency. However, I really don't see the republican party trying to ride a candidate like Palin after her debacle this last time around, and I think it would be a sign of poor judgement on the part of the party, especially if Obama seeks a second term.

THIS JUST IN: Sarah Palin will step down as governor of Alaska on July 26, 2009. This, of course, would fuel predictions that she will run for the presidency in 2012! Now, why doesn't it surprise me that she's so dumb she didn't get the temperature reading the first time? An Obama vs. Palin run in 2012 should be fun to watch at the very least!

Side: No, she's too stupid

It is now 2015 and I hope she does not decide to run for President in 2016.
