True, history shows time and time again that fiat paper currency inevitably collapses, yet America and the world continue to ignore that an commodity is real money with real intrinsic value. Will America completely financially collapse? Yes, without a commodity to fall back on and paper money as the forced medium of exchange, it will not be like the Germans in the 1920's where they could still fell back on gold and silver. Well, for America too collaspe, first, it would have to lose its status as currency reserve, second, all paper currency would have to collaspe, for it would be bailed out, which will only delay an even harder hit collaspe. America has the biggest Economy in the world! Plus the biggest Military too! We have many allies too! America will not fall, I promise that. There are difficult times ahead (especially with Obama in office). But America has always pulled through them. Throughout the 1900s we pulled through the great depression, World War I and World War II, The Cold War. And many others. America will not be over run, we will stand and fight, and defeat the enemy. Some people say that China has the biggest economy and Military in the world. Yes they have population and a great exporting business. But they also lie, cheat and copy other designed and call them their own! China will fall, I predict within the next 25 to 65 years. As long as America keep perserving, we are unstoppable. Side: No

Absolutely not. I can almost guarantee that anyone making "apocalyptic" forecasts about the future of the America is either a religious fundamentalists or has gotten too wrapped up in their personal ideology. Some time things are good, sometimes things are bad, sometime things are "really bad" (right now?) but were not apocalyptic or on the edge of collapse. The government has the ability to quickly fix things that get anywhere near "america collapsing". Even if you hate Obama or Bush, they both have a strong vested interest (families, children, businesses, etc) in keeping America from collapsing. Side: No
