Obama said the idea of bypassing Congress and making laws on his own is “very tempting”.

Bush said if this were a dictatorship “it would be a heck of a lot easier”.

That’s what they said. People don’t become President if they don’t seek power. But that’s not how it works here, so it doesn’t matter what you believe Trump wants to do. He is constrained. Why, has he said something?

He hasn't said anything. It's like the imaginary hidden racism liberals tell us about so often. It's there. It just never manifests, and you just can't see it.

I remember some President who targeted Conservatives and media with the IRS and the NSA. I couldn't find an angry lib anywhere back in those days. It made me feel like...Nazi Germany and Japanese internment camps...

What about the children? Oh god. The children... Those poor conservative and media's children...

CBS correspondent says 'it should be noted' that the Obama White House 'demonized' Fox News daily

SNOPES

What's True

President Obama attempted to delegitimize Fox News by calling their oppositional stance "destructive" for the country, took questions from Fox News correspondents less frequently than he did from those of other major networks in press briefings, and his administration expressed a willingness to exclude Fox reporters from interviews with top officials.

What’s more, a 2013 analysis by the University of Minnesota’s Eric Ostermeier found that Fox News correspondents were called on far less often during White House press briefings than those of the other major television networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN).

Other incidents occurring early on in the Obama administration also suggested a pattern of discriminating against Fox News and its reporters. For example, in September 2009 Obama famously snubbed “Fox News Sunday” (anchored by Chris Wallace) when making the rounds of Sunday talk shows to discuss health care reform, and he did not appear on the show until 2016, his last year in office. Again in 2009, Obama spokesperson osh Earnest admitted a willingness to exclude Fox News from interviews with top administration officials.

More disturbingly, the Washington Post reported in 2013 that Obama’s Department of Justice (DOJ) surveilled a Fox News reporter and obtained a search warrant for his e-mails while conducting an investigation into national security leaks in 2009. Although he wasn’t the only journalist targeted in such an investigation, the Fox News correspondent was singled out as a possible “aider, abettor, and/or co-conspirator,” a fact which, according to the Post, “distinguishes his case from the probe of the AP, in which the news organization is not the likely target.”

STUPOR STUPID you have no facts when you type your Insane Party Rhetoric !

You are blind by your own admission due to Party Affiliation !

Now let's have some fun with SUPER STUPID !!!!!!!

President Trump has not been known to quietly brood about government officials who leak confidential information to the media.

He's thumbed out splenetic tweets and worn out microphones calling for the arrest of whoever's leaking information about his administration.

On Monday, Reality Winner became the first alleged leaker prosecuted during Trump's presidency. She's accused of leaking a classified U.S. intelligence document to the Intercept.

Trump is far from matching the total number of leak arrests of President Barack Obama — who rarely talked publicly about leakers until subpoenas were dropped and arrests were made.

What's the key difference between how Obama and Trump have gone after leakers?

Experts on executive-branch leaks say it's too early to gauge Trump's legacy. But much has been made about the Obama administration's hunt for leakers. Of the 13 people who have been prosecuted under the Espionage Act for leaking secrets, eight were arrested under Obama's administration, according to Alexandra Ellerbeck, senior Americas and U.S. researcher with the Committee to Protect Journalists.

And prosecutors under Obama have spied on journalists and named a journalist an “unindicted co-conspirator,” according to the New York Times. Ellerbeck said that's just a step away from arresting a reporter for writing a story — and raises dangerous constitutional issues about freedom of the press.

SUPER STUPID can you PAY ATTENTION ??????????

President Donald Trump’s crackdown on government leaks reached new heights Friday when Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced aggressive investigations by the Justice Department while raising the possibility of going after journalists that publish those leaks.

The Freedom of the Press Foundation criticized Sessions’ announcement, which also renewed debate about the public value of leaks and their effect on national security, but it is hardly the first time a White House has gone after leakers or the journalists who publish highly guarded information.

President Barack Obama, in fact, set a record for any president with his number of prosecutions against leakers using the Espionage Act. Some observers fear that Obama’s crackdown on leaks paved the way for Trump to do the same.

Here are 10 people that fell under leak investigations during Obama’s presidency:

Thomas Drake

Shamai Leibowitz

Chelsea Manning (formerly Bradley Manning)

Stephen Kim

James Rosen

Jeffrey Sterling

James Risen

John Kiriakou

Donald Sachtleben

Edward Snowden
