Would a female president be good for the "American" image?

Things are changing fast in America and feminism is already well known. Would a female president present a good image for america? Would it make us look weaker or stronger? Would this be a large step for women? The female president(or what she may look like at least)

I guess so, but I'd like to think we could be worried less about our image and more about our actions.

Several Muslim countries have already had a female head of state, and yet the country that claims to be the flagship of democracy and equal rights has only just had its first black head of state and has never had a woman in the top job.

Hell yes, it would be good for your image!

Biological sex is not relevant in someone's eligablity for office.

Side: Yes, I think so

A female president would be great, so long as she had good policies. I would be against a feminist president regardless of their gender.

Side: Yes, I think so

I don't see why not. If a female is as well qualified, has good policies, I have no problem with a female president. Gender is completely irrelevant.

Germany, Argentina, Liberia, Lithuania, Costa rica, Brazil, Kosovo, Malawi, San Marino, have all incumbant female presidents. I don't see any difference between men and women when it comes to who can and can't run for head of state. Gender, sexuality, race: pretty much have nothing to do with it all.

Side: Yes, I think so

A woman President would demonstrate to the world that America is a land of equal opportunity for all.

Does it matter what a puppet looks like as long as it entertains the audience?

Side: No, it's a little odd

Although I'm all for a female president, i see a female president being excepted just as much as a black president. Everyone trys to say Obama messed up bad, but he's doing okay compared to his predecessors. I can only assume it's his sin color that causes the hate. Especially when the people who try to dispute him can't go 3 words without the coon, or some other racist slur.

I feel the tension would be just as bad for a female.

What people want, is someone who can do good behind the scenes, female, male, black, or white, but an older white gentleman acting as the 'face of America'.
