In a heart beat I would leave this site if they eliminted the ability to ban deceptive liars and childish idiots! The only people who worry about the ban feature are those who get banned for being deceptive or childish. The rest of us are not so insecure to try and force others to listen to rhetoric. If someone does not want to listen to what I have to say, why on earth would i try to force them to do so? That would make me an arrogant control fanatic! Oh wait a minute, I just described a Liberal. Side: Yes

"Only in your mind is heading(LMMFAO)(Is that hating) the opposing viewpoint considered ridiculing. If hating the other side of the argument sounds so much like ridiculing, maybe you are on the wrong side." You have perfectly portrayed the Leftist you support and you still don't get it Cali Boy ! No. I haven't used the ban feature even once, not even as a joke. Nor am I wishing for the banners to leave, by the way, because I know from other debate websites that keeping you angry radicals around is the best way for these debate sites to maintain interest. Keep doing what you do. But yeah, I'm still going to keep calling you out on it, too. That's what I do. We're kind of symbiotic. Side: No
I don't think the serial banners would leave if the ban feature were rescinded even though they could not control their message without banning all dissenting opinions. Without the ability to ban I would hazard a guess that spamming banners would disrupt other debates rather than create their own. Despite being abused the ban feature serves a purpose. Just because a minority of the posters abuse this tool doesn't mean that others should not benefit from the usefulness of it. Think guns in the US, a few bad apples make it look bad but the majority of the posters here are responsible. The price we pay for these things is seeing the poor behavior of others on display once in a while. Side: No

No, but the range of causes which would qualify for banning must be limited and the process should be monitored to ensure the rules are being adhered to. Otherwise many debates are ruined and become no more than a one sided propaganda platform for the debate creator's viewpoint. Side: No

I have railed against the ban feature and said I'd never use it but I admit I did. One time and with one member who would not stop slandering me. I also reported him to the mods. I will not be slandered. But Would like the ban feature to be subject to mod review. So people like SaintNoClue couldn't ban for no reason except disagreement. God Bless. Side: No
