To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:

As a vegetarian, I can't wait for synthetic meat to come to market. I love the taste of meat, but won't eat it because of how inhumane factory farming is. Once synthetic meat becomes a viable alternative, I will finally be able to eat a burger with some real flavor.
Well, if you hate factory farming, what about hunting? I can understand your side, I also hate the way some meat is created. That's why I hunt most of my meat. Saves me a lot of money too!
I personally can't justify killing something that feels pain and fear when there are plenty of other things to eat. If I had to eat meat in order to survive then I might reconsider my viewpoint, but to kill something that feels fear and pain just because it tastes good just doesn't feel right to me. However, I definitely have a much greater respect for people who hunt their food instead of just buying it all in the supermarket.
No, I don't find enjoyment in killing things. I find it kind of disturbing that you do. It's one thing to kill for survival, but to kill for fun seems pretty messed up to me.
I've never had mice in my house, but if I did I would use a humane trap and release it into the woods. I see no reason to kill something unless it is trying to harm me or is invading my home and I have no way to remove it without killing it.
Wow, you get set up traps, catch the little guy, toss him in the garbage, I don't see your issue, animals kill other animals all the time, not just for survival they play around with them too
Yeah why not it is a sustainable way of getting the protein whilst taking up less space than cattle and other farm animals. Also it takes away the moral issues many people have with the fact that animals are killed, so i can't see an argument against synthetic meat.
Here's a video with more info on lab grown meat. It talks about the process, and explains that lab grown meat is healthier and can be customized to people's tastes.
Oh sure why not just take all the nutrients out of my diet. I'd rather stick to the natural stuff. In America we take out to many nutrients for cheaper by-products just to make more money.
