CreateDebate is a social debate community built around ideas, discussion and democracy.
If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
Arguments with the highest score are displayed first.
Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument.
To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.
Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change.
Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.
All scores are updated in real-time.

Well, you see eating a fat person and eating a skinny person would be directly comprable to eating factory farmed pig and free range pig.
The pork we eat is muscle, so if the person has little muscle it will be very fatt and there will be less to eat.
No, for me, the "right circumstanses" don actually need to include a donnor party situation, but that's most likely what would put human sur la table. In that case, fatty meat might be better, but overall that was a comedic statement.
That's an awesome analogy and I agree with it; I'd first go for the skinny with more lean meat. But it's unrealistic. If a group of people are in an accident or something, and they must eat some of their own, I bet the least fit or most injured is eaten first, so as to get rid of some burden.
Well, yes, it is unrealistic. I actually would not be able to kill someone to eat him or her. The "right circumstances" for me would have to be preceeded by a more natural death.
I would also consider trying human meat from a cadaver who was killed by something other than disease. I know that sounds creepy, but to me, meat is meat and when humans die were nothing but potential nutrients.
Only if another person and I were, for instance, on a deserted island, starving to death, and we agreed that if one of us died first, the other would eat him/her to survive.
Weird circumstance, I know. X_X But that's pretty much what it would take. If I could to it then...preparing the body would be pretty awful.
Let's say for example that other person was me. I'd just kill you and eat you. Obviously in real life I wouldn't cause I'm vegetarian.. but I doubt anybody in the world would say first to die would be eaten :P
They might. Do you really think that there aren't ANY people who wouldn't kill their friend for food, but would still want to survive? I mean, some people do have a shred of loyalty. But I know you're just kidding around, I'm just saying...
Dno... I probably wouldn't kill a good friend, or a real friend. If it's just someone I know.. then yeah he's killable. If it's to eat them... then I doubt it unless they tried to kill me. But then again because I'm so intelligent, strong and supreme in every way I'll find a way around it. :D
I often fantasize about eating a human, I will cut its throat and hang it on a iron hook that goes around a factory and skin it while its still alive. just like what we do to animals.
Could we get some research on that? Not that I particularly oppose your viewpoint, just that it sounds a bit racist the way you put it. I was unaware of any African tribes that traditionally consumed human flesh.
The minimum length for an argument is 50 characters. The purpose of this restriction is to cut down on the amount of dumb jokes, so we can keep the quality of debate and discourse as high as possible.
It's amazing how many stories out there of people that thought they would never be put into a situation in order to survive that human flesh would be there only means to survive. When the hunger first sets in you could hold off maybe for a week or so, as long as you have water but after a week without any protein, you would give no thought to it in order to survive.
hahaha this is hilarious.yeah ive heard it tastes like pork also but what about the health of the person you were eating? what if they had Aids or Herpes or bad acne eww yuk pustules.but yes, (to those who wont eat fat people), lean meat is always better. But then what about preparing the body ;gutting it, removing the bowel, etc eww pewww.Ive heard it has to be prepared correctly otherwise it can lead to insanity or desease of the brain. i dont know it all sounds crazy to me. but then ive never been that hungry, so i guess i cant say, that as a matter of survival, i wouldnt do it. Although i think id try to find another option like bark or grass or a different type of creature.
