A boat wreck usually doesn't involve any massive amount of falling. Plane wrecks can happen over all of Earth, which means there's a pretty good chance that the flaming, disintegrating plane wreck will only turn into a boat wreck situation once it hits the water nearing a thousand miles an hour. If not, then you hit the ground. You lose either way. Usually, not all the time, but usually, boat wrecks are slower and more manageable situations, and a greater people come out of boat wrecks alive that those that escape from aircraft wrecks. I don't know what the ration of plane crashed are to boat wrecks but I'd take my chances in the boat wreck rather than a plane crash. I'd think you'd have a better chance of survival unless you were traveling at some inordinate amount of speed and hit another boat head on or other injurious way. Side: Boat
Well, first off, if I'm ever in a boat wreck I'd be pretty pissed off because I hate going on boats to begin with. And imagine that someone talks me into going on a cruise and it hits.. a rock type iceberg (haha) and just, fkn, wonderful. However, I pick boat because there's probably a better chance of surviving and there's less falling. But there better be something for me to float on because I sure as hell don't want to drown. And if a shark even dares to eff with me, I'll punch his eyes out. Side: Boat
The only shark you REALLY have to worry about is the oceanic white tip. They actually see humans as prey when they are out in open water and will attack a human as if he were prey. Oceanic white tips are believed to be the cause of many of the men disappearing from the USS Indianapolis after it sunk. Every other shark, typically, will just take an investigatory bite to "taste" you. But sharks usually think we taste bad and will not eat us. Side: Plane
