Would you rather be in a boat wreck or a plane wreck?

well?

Boat

Plane

I'm pretty good at swimming. Absolutely useless at flying.

A boat wreck usually doesn't involve any massive amount of falling. Plane wrecks can happen over all of Earth, which means there's a pretty good chance that the flaming, disintegrating plane wreck will only turn into a boat wreck situation once it hits the water nearing a thousand miles an hour. If not, then you hit the ground. You lose either way.

Usually, not all the time, but usually, boat wrecks are slower and more manageable situations, and a greater people come out of boat wrecks alive that those that escape from aircraft wrecks.

Side: Boat

I don't know what the ration of plane crashed are to boat wrecks but I'd take my chances in the boat wreck rather than a plane crash. I'd think you'd have a better chance of survival unless you were traveling at some inordinate amount of speed and hit another boat head on or other injurious way.

Well, first off, if I'm ever in a boat wreck I'd be pretty pissed off because I hate going on boats to begin with. And imagine that someone talks me into going on a cruise and it hits.. a rock type iceberg (haha) and just, fkn, wonderful. However, I pick boat because there's probably a better chance of surviving and there's less falling. But there better be something for me to float on because I sure as hell don't want to drown. And if a shark even dares to eff with me, I'll punch his eyes out.

The only shark you REALLY have to worry about is the oceanic white tip. They actually see humans as prey when they are out in open water and will attack a human as if he were prey. Oceanic white tips are believed to be the cause of many of the men disappearing from the USS Indianapolis after it sunk. Every other shark, typically, will just take an investigatory bite to "taste" you. But sharks usually think we taste bad and will not eat us.

You'll have a better chance of survival from a boat wreck.

Side: Boat

Much more exciting plus you go down in a blaze of glory and don't have to worry about drowning ;)

Side: Plane

The plane could still go down over water and crash. But half the people may be able to get out of the plane before it sinks and ya, have a nice drown.

Side: Plane

Nope. I would grab hold of a pair of implants and use them as flotation devices. ;)

I'd probably be too petrified if I were in a boat wreck. I just don't like being in the middle of the ocean with no land in sight (without a boat). At least in a plane wreck, I'd most likely die right away. :) Or I could skydive my way down!..... Maybe.

Side: Plane

1. If I die, it mine as well be in a plane wreck because thats cooler and It would be less painful.

2. If I live, how cool would it be to be able to say, I survived a plane wreck.

Side: Plane

If my demise is eminent, then I want to go down in flames! I don't want to feel it! Just blow me to pieces and with the tenacious impact of smashing against the ground, tree, or water.

Boat wrecks you have a likely would drown in a plane crash the statistics are likely you will live

you answer this, the titanic or an air crash????????

in the titanic thousands of people died but in a plane crash only a hundred it is safer too because aplane has all the water equipment like air boats, life vests and others...........

so go planes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The titanic was carrying 3,547 people, and only 1,517 died. That is a 58% survival rate. [source] Generally, plane crashes result in an average survival rate of 24%. [source]

I'd take my chances on the Titanic, thank you very much.

Here's a fun fact:

The titanic sunk in the morning, not at night. The sun was out. I think it was at 9 am.

Not as dramatic as the movie..

But still horrible because so many people died.

I think when we're talking Titanic we're on to the ship class rather than boat. I mean like, boats are small watercraft used for recreation and tugging things. Tugboats are the greatest.

i actually used the term "boat" to mean "any sort of vehicle made to travel across water other than jet skiis"

then why are you on the plane side...............and even if it is a ship............... imagine there is a tsunami and you are on a boat. you would die like that if on a boat, but if on a plane you avoid tsunamis.
