Protesting ANYWHERE isn't a "good idea", but, sometimes a wheel has to squeak before it gets grease! Protesting out of the way in some farmers field won't get you anything. Sometimes you have to bother people, get in their way, to be heard. Kind of like the TEA Party did a few years ago. You know ... interrupt meetings, walk down the middle of streets, make a lot of noise, wave signs, etc. Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. ;-)

Civil disobedience is ALWAYS a good idea. In fact, it's the MOST patriotic event a citizen can participate in.. This great nation was BORN in dissent.

Have you read it? It's not very long and doesn't use any big words.. In the part where it talks about your RIGHT to assemble, the ONLY limit the founders put on it, was that it's peaceful. Truly.. Those are the WORDS. If they WANTED to limit it to good ideas only, they COULDA said so.. They didn't.. Was it because they forgot?? I thought right wingers loved the Constitution. No, huh?

So, if you want to get peoples attention, and that's what civil disobedience is about, you gotta get IN THEIR FACE.. What better place to do that than a crowded freeway??
