Yes California Indepence Campaign

There is a group called Yes California Independence Campaign who are calling for a ''Calexit'' from the united states of America.

In this debate could you give your thoughts on what you think of the idea, also let me know which consequences USA would face if such a major state were to actually leave and become an independent state. You are welcome to consider the consequences for California as well.

No, I can never see this happening.

The majority of whites won't support such a campaign and the Latinos are too foxy to vote themselves out of the country which they and their descendants spent so much time and effort gaining entry.

However, the poor old U.S, is going to realize when it's too late how it's open door policy to illegal immigrants will lead eventually to the erosion of it's present borders and the escalation of civil unrest.

Take note of this prediction and stick it up on your wall.

Didn't Trump say that they were going to deport 3 million immigrants or something?

That he did, but it's not what you say or think that counts, it's only what you DO that's important.

Even if he does complete this mammoth task I think you'll find that there are significantly more illegal immigrants in the U.S, than 3 million.

The much-vaunted ''wall'' would only stop the free movement of wildlife, but the sun has never dawned on the wall that man cannot circumvent.

There is no reason for California to leave the United States. Our country is structured to give the states more power than provinces have in other countries. The State of California can and will protect its residents from any potential violation of their rights, and secession isn't necessary to do that. Plus, Supreme Court ruled that states cannot secede over a hundred years ago.

The campaign uses the arguments that California with the 6th largest economy in the world is able to compete internationally alone. They say that their motivation for wanting a ''calexit'' is that the political and ethical values of the USA is in conflict with those of California.

There are plenty of countries who have gained independence even though there was legislative impediments... USA is actually an example of that :)

California voted for the candiadate that supports global policing and interventionalism. They can't do that without using the military power of the US. On it's own, California won't be able to fulfill Hillary's dream of further messing up the Middle East.

Not true, they can become members of NATO .

Well, as of late NATO hasn't been too eager to continue with the interventionalism.

Let's take a little trip back in time to 2012 and a article in the Huff and Puff post by a man of the name Jeff Schweitzer. Here are his comments about secession and i quote his article and his words.

"Let’s be clear that the secession movement is racist no matter how vigorously that may be denied. There would be no movement if a white man was sitting in the Oval Office."

Poor Jeffery is a Progressive Dummy. Shall we continue ? Yes we shall.

"The epicenter of secession fever is, not surprisingly, in Texas. So we should use that momentum to everybody’s favor, and designate Texas as the new Republic to which all secessionists move. We strip American citizenship from all people who sign secession petitions and assign each a temporary Green Card to allow them legal residency in the United States for a designated period. We allow Texas to secede and create an independent New Texas Republic. We then encourage all secessionists to move to their new Republic; we do so by having the Green Card expire in five years. At the date of expiration they need to either be residing in New Texas or be subjected to deportation to the new country."

Now do you think the Progressive Dummy Jeff Schweitzer is going to say what he said about California ? Would you like to have the link ? Well sure you would !

Liberals are against Conservative ideas only when those ideas do not benefit them. As soon as Conservative ideas benefit them, they are all over that shit like white on rice ;)

I thought that the answer to the question, "Can a state secede from the union?" was answered at the end of the Civil War. The answer was a resounding, "Shit, Hell, Fuck, NO!" ;)
