Your thoughts on Satan? On Demons?

Hello my brothers. Here is one of my favorite quotes. This debate is simple, as we shall begin with me simply asking for your comments on this quote.........

"The greatest trick the devil ever pulled on you is getting you to believe He does not exist."

Charles Baudelaire

I think you have a bunch of demons attached to you, it's pretty obvious in the way you talk against the LORD GOD ALMIGHT JESUS CHRIST

1 point

I never do any such thing. Again, I expose your lies.

Go back and check my posts. ALL of them. Any of them.

I have taken Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

I am a born again Christian.

God gave me a powerful vision and saved me from Hell.

Satan was nipping at my heels. Beckoning me.

I have seen Demons on two different occasions. Satan used to tempt our band and try to get us to corrupt and harm young Christian women who listened to us and followed the band. I once stopped a Demon from raping one of these women.

I thank God every day that He Saved me. I did not deserve it.

I believe in the one and only Creator God. But feel the Yahweh god as depicted in the Holy Bible is NOT that god. NOT a good representation. I also feel the bible is inspired by God in parts, but written by mortal men. It is also flawed in parts. So what? It is still my Holy Book!!!

AintNow was banned for straying off topic and not answering me. I will say again for all to hear: as a Demon Hunter I am out to expose and destroy any entities that are openly hostile to God and His Word. I consider false prophets to fall into this category.

God Bless.

"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'"

all he was doing was asking what you thought of the quote. How does that make you think he has demons attached to him?

1 point

I have no thoughts of them.

I keep The Devil and his legion of abominations ,out of sight and mind.

There is only room in here for God, My Lord and Savior.

Jalapeños.

Jalapeños!!

Thanks for your post.

So, I gathered that you DO believe in them? But keep them out of mind?

Very good answer, my friend. And the most effective method at keeping the Legions at bay. They do need a portal in which to infiltrate, and thinking about them provides this. Good job, keep it up, and God Bless.

Satan adds spice to life; being a goody two-shoes is quite boring.

Depends on how far you are willing to go with the shoes.

Will you just abide to the laws or will you seek to help others, form communities, save lives?

You could be greatly rewarded for Good deeds.

Contrastingly, Will you just take candy from babies or go rob a bank?

In your goody two shoes, the walk might be boring, but the destination can be more desirable.

In your baddy two shoes, the walk can be fun, but the destination could turn out to be , one of irony.

Oh he will definitely add spice. and at first you may enjoy that spice, but in the end you will rue the day you allowed Him or any of his Legion into your life. in this way it is like doing drugs I suppose. Cocaine or narcotics, both of which I did when I was a sinful atheist and played in a Black Metal band. this is when Satan first crept into my life. See, like I said before, demons need a portal with which to enter your life. you need to think about them or be doing something they associate with. contrary to popular belief, they rarely come into somebody's life unbidden. this is why all those fire and brimstone fundies like AintNow are so wrong about people being possessed. or being Satanic. they grossly over-estimate how many people really ARE. just like they over-estimate that the are really Saved by God.

News flash: just like Satan, God does NOT care for everybody.

Only certain people. why this is true or how He (they) choose I do not know, but I DO know they do choose.

God Bless

I don't know if they exist, and if they do exist whether tha'ts only in hell or in some capacity also influencing earth. But I do know this: The vast majority of people who point all around them hysterically saying the devil this or that or my kids are possessed by demons, etc, are at a minimum delusional or at the worst are insane.

I know you believe in demons and I'm not trying to say you're insane. But I also don't think you're about to head to the river to drown your babies because they're evil so you're not part of that problem majority.

It's no coincidence that the worst crimes committed in the name of religion have been when people were trying to stamp out the alleged devils and demons from common people.

Hmm..I dont know if I can agree with you on the worst crimes committed being done by trying to stamp out demons.

the Spanish Inquisition was not about that, nor were the Crusades. nor was all those million Yahweh killed in the Old Testament. at the end of the day most murder that is daid to be done in the name of god or religion is really done for power and control. and land.

but i DO agree with you that the majority of people who claim to have seen demons are been possessed by them ARE fraudulent. same deal holds true with psychics. most are bogus, but the real gift does exist.

when I encountered my demons, twice, they had the exact same physical reaction on me. I should say they caused me to experience the same physical reaction: nausea; watery eyes; rapid heart-rate; flushed skin; feverish feeling. loud buzzing in the ears. both times I puked after I left the room, or the house, they were in. this is why I believe they actually are comprised of a type of power source, like an emf thing.

History is full of witch trials and torture in the name of god.

Your EMF theory is interesting. Makes for good scifi anyway. I don't know (luckily).

If there is only a natural world, then there is only natural evil. if there is a supernatural world, then it's reasonable to believe there's a supernatural evil.

-

if we can destroy natural evil, I see no reason to be afraid of the supernatural evil. Fix the problems you can see. and the ones you can't shouldn't matter. though, evil does have a tendency to be in the dark. so, maybe my analogy doesn't work.

No, your analogy is actually spot on! There IS supernatural evil precisely because there is a supernatural world. Of which god is a part. People need to recognize this. You all have no trouble in seeing how nature and the natural world is filled with equal opposites. Light and dark. Hot and cold. Wet and dry. In electricity,, positive and negative.

So it is in the supernatural world.

Hence, The negative Force we call Satan is not superstition. It is actually science based. As much a real force as gravity. I think it works on a quantum level.

Except in nature, these "opposites" don't exist the way you are referring for the most part.

Darkness is simply an absence of light. Cold is simply an absence of heat. Dry is an absence of humidity.

On the other hand, "evil" within the context you are referring to isn't simply an absence of good. It is its own entity.

It's easier to assume there exists a pure, super-natural evil do blame for most of the ills of this world, rather than recognizing that we are the things most closely resembling demons.

Well, that or botflies.

I don't know for sure, but from what they say, Satan is one Hell of a guy!

I would like to hear some sincere opinions on Satan and/or Demons!!

Thank you, all. We will not have to tolerate AintNow any longer. Certainly not on this debate, and soon, most likely not even on this Forum.

God Bless.

Why do you say I am under control of Satan? Can you give me an honest answer in your own words? For once? It seems to me all you can do is parrot the Bible or parrot your comrade in zealotry, AintNow.

So Mr dad...surprise me. Prove me wrong. Here is your chance!

Why am in in Satan's power? Because my theology differs from yours? Tell us. Enlighten us. I still highly doubt you will, or can answer in your own calm and coherent words.

Oh...if you don't do this for me I will have no choice but to ban you for being off topic. You have already gotten one free pass. Let's see if you can use it?
