Well I'd bring my own water too. :) But these people sometimes, depending on the venue, ask you to empty your pockets or search your purse or under your hat. I know at Yankee Stadium they did that to us. We weren't smuggling any water, but they checked our bags, etc. Side: ronpaul

It's absolutely crazy at the stadiums! Look at what you have to shell out for just one ticket at the new stadium...they've had to reduce prices to get the fans in there! They simply cannot afford it otherwise. To charge for water, in my humble estimation, is like charging for air to breathe...and they should pay you to breathe the air in that stadium. It's in one of the worst parts of The Bronx! Side: A Big Fat Zero

Well, I would drink a bunch of water before I got there. And maybe sneak a bottle in my shorts. But if I was there and was seriously thirsty, I would pay $2. When people are thirsty enough, they will do anything for water. Wars have been fought over water. The people that run these events know that, thats why they jack up the price. And notice how they have extra starchy and salty snacks, like those huge pretzels. Eat one of those and you are dying for something to drink. ($) If I was dehydrated and the price for water was more than 4 dollars I would just leave. Side: four dollars
Haha, it's like $2 for water friggin everywhere outside of a grocery/convenience store. Same price of amusement parks and Disneyland too (if not more). But hey, $2 for water is nothing compared to $6 for a cup of beer at Indy. (more or less around that price. My husband worked at the Sprint race that was in Phoenix last month and they sell a LOT of the beer even though it's so damn expensive). I'd rather sneak in my juices. Big purses are good for that and no other reason. :-) Side: James P.Moran

Forget about the Indy 500, which I most likely wouldn't go to anyway. The most I'd pay for a bottle of water anywhere is $2, unless I'm desperate. Even at Wawa and other convenience stores, the big sports bottles are only $1.50 to $1.75. So even though $2 is pushing it, it's not enough to turn me away. Side: James P.Moran
