bronies: gay or misunderstood

All that it means to be a brony is to be male and enjoy a particular tv show. That has no direct reflection on sexual orientation in any way, shape or form. Stereotypes may present bronies as homosexuals only, meaning that more homosexuals than heterosexuals may be bronies because they believe it to be convention, but that does not mean that bronies are inherently homosexual.

Let me just say that it's disturbing. It's not as bad as a guy wearing women's underwear, but it still pretty weird.

We live in a society where it's okay for girls to act like guys, but it's not okay for guys to act like girls. This has negative affects for both sides, making girls seem inferior and guys being expected to act "manly". There is absolutely nothing wrong with bronies. It only seems odd to people nowadays because it's unusual for a guy to act "girly", when really being "girly" is taken out of context a lot. Being "girly" is not pink and glitter and sparkles. If guys want to be bronies, let them be bronies.

Besides, what's bad about being gay? Gay is used as a derogatory term a lot, but whether or not someone is gay or misunderstood doesn't make them any less important.

My brother is a bronie and being gay is against his religion. He is very much against being gay. So misunderstood.
