Have any of you approached your teachers about using CreateDebate in your classroom as a learning tool? There are several teachers throughout the country that have used it successfully in class and find it very valuable as a teaching tool. If you know of any teachers who might be interested, have them drop us a line at createdebate [at] createdebate [dot] com. That way you'd have the best of both worlds, being able to use CreateDebate and not worrying about getting in trouble for doing so! Side: yea

A SHAMELESS ADVERTISEMENT IF EVER THERE WAS ONE.....LOL!!! I, for one, would wish all PC's at any school were blocked from using anything but sites that are of value to their school work, no matter what grade one is in. The only advantage I can see is in a learning capacity. Using CD after school hours should be valuable as one comes across questions or other people's answers than can be perplexing. If they brought the subject matter to the fore the next day in the appropriate class a teacher or other student may be able to elaborate on a portion of a debate that one doesn't understand or quite know how to reply to. My school blocks CD and none of the proxies I know of get around the blog block. But nevertheless I am glad that my school blocks it because if it did not I would be unfocused on my school work and spend the whole day pretending to do work while all I would be posting debates all period long. I love listening to it but I never really tried playing it over school. I'd rather hang out with my best buddies and have my iPod on but mostly I just put it inside my bag and just read books. I only get to enjoy music more when I am at my room, in front of a computer and posting on creatdebate. background music Side: I hope not
