does having popular brands make you seem more materialistic?
these days everyone wears brands for example adidas and nike and raulph lauren but when you look at ralph lauren its quite posh but these days loads of people are wearing them is it right that they wear these but we say oh there chavy even though for example ralph lauren is a posh make.

In my opinion not at all. I usually wear all Nike products because I can afford it and I like their products. You are simply buying what you deem as "cool" or "trendy". Materialistic people usually place meterial goods over people. Simply purchasing popular clothing doesn't automatically make you a materialistic person. However that doesn't mean that a materialistic person won't wear all Nike or Adidas. |
