Fracking is good!

It frees up much needed energy.

Natural gas is a very clean form of fuel.

Much much cleaner than coal.

Cheaper than solar.

More efficient than wind.

There were so many safety procedures and Environmental restrictions on the Fracking procedures now that water contamination is not even a concern.

It is the land that the non potable water FROM the fracking runs off to that is usually the point of contention to anti Fracking environmentalists. But in the vast majority of cases the land it comes in contract with is NOT gonna be used for crops or agriculture anyway!

Hope this helps!

Let's see what the Yale guys say!

Hey....they agree with me...whatta ya know?

Thanks.

Yale Environment 360 asked industry officials, scientists, and conservationists to answer the following two-part question: “Can hydraulic fracturing of gas and oil reserves in shale formations be done on a large scale without significant negative impacts on water supplies, air quality, and local communities?

So this isn't the yale guys its industry officials, scientists and conservationists.

Maybe this is the link you were looking for? http://environment.yale.edu/envy/stories/fracking-outpaces-science-on-its-impact) )

It ends with a little closer to what you frame but less so on the regulations part. 'Fracking can be safe but will it?' to sum it up.

water contamination happens in the long run when too much is in local areas where water can be found.

There is a reason that the keep it in the ground movement is a thing. Fracking is really unregulated by the government contrary to many people's popular reliefs. It it was regulated then we wouldn't even be having this debate. Adding benzene, antifreeze, and other harmful and poisonous chemicals obviously happens in many fracking sites without the government regulation. It leaves gigantic wholes in the ground which are never cleaned up because businesses file bankruptcies to avoid the process. People are saying all these problems are worth it for natural gas when they have just taken the side of money costs over the environment.
