Maybe, but the rate at which we consume our resources we are at the point where we are "overpopulated"

I say yes because not only do we as humans have needs, but as a very social civilization we have wants.

It's all well and good to say we don't need all the things we can't have, but its human nature to want. We can't just decide to neglect that.

One group I know of that gave up all wants is the Tibetan Monks, but the drastic change they made to live that lifestyle one can not say is natural. Surely they still have desire, and there's nothing wrong with that. Desire causes people to work harder at things, creating, not only things we take for granted, but things we now need such as medical machines.

Not only do things get made due to desire, but the act of desiring in and of it's self has positive effects on people. A person who wants, then gets what they wanted has chemicals released in their brain stimulating joy. A life with no joy is not really a life worth living now is it?

So in conclusion we are overpopulated not because of our needs but because our very natural wants, that with such a high population, can't be fulfilled even if the wants weren't infinite.

I say yes because I want to eliminate rush hour traffic ;)

i think so much people in the world. you can't know every people and can't count...

i think really there is to much people in our world....there is millionssss billionsssss of people in this world.....
