what about PvP in Wow for example arena? you need critical thinking there and use your abilities correctly and in time also we can take a battleground PvP there you have to create and analyze strategy you need good skills in leadership so as a skill improvement game wow is much better again=) Side: it leads to bad behavior
Okay, clearly you know absolutely nothing about DOTA, or WOW. WOW doesn't even involve any level of strategy, you just hit the hotkeys when you can use a spell and the rest is all random chance. Also DOTA was a map for Warcraft 3, an RTS and was the inspiration for the entire MOBA genre, which are also strategy games. Side: it develops critical thinking

I agree that they live in another world, virtual world, where they can do everything. When dota-players in reality, they imagine that reality equals to virtuality and do the same things, even kill people like in video games. There a lot of examples, but the most famous was in Norway. hi everybody , i would like to say some words about dota . 1) I have neutral position about dota because is has negative and positive thing , First of all dota helps to relax and have fun with you friend but unfrotunetly you spent much time for this game . I take the view that playing DOTA develop critical thinking. Most of my friends play this game, and I can't say that these guys have bad behavior. I believe that playing action games develops critical thinking, especially when they play strategic game like DOTA. Youngsters think critically and improve their critical thinking. While playing DOTA, people have to think about their strategy having to create an army and conquer other realms. By doing these things, youngsters improve their critical thinking. I play DotA some years already and I believe I know much about it now. I think that it can develop critical thinking but only if players try to analyze the situation, follow their strategy and counter enemies'. However if you don't try to think then there is no much use for your critical thinking. Some of you are persuaded that it separates us from our friends and parents. It's my viewpoint that it varies for every person individually. I personally didn't have any problems with it. But it's true that you can lose close connection with others if you spend too much time on the game. And if you became interested in DotA I'm sure you WILL spend much time. This is the biggest problem of DotA and all computer games and the main reason of separating with friends. This time could be spent on more useful activities. Also if you want to use DotA for developing your critical thinking you have to know much what means play much because you cannot use critical thinking in new and unknown area. DotA is really entertaining game and it can develop critical thinking. But there are a lot of other ways of having fun and developing critical thinking more effectively. It is my view that playing DOTA is a big up to date's problem. As a DOTA player in past (1.5 year ago I stopped it) would like to talk about some real problems which are brought by playing it. Firstly, it is an addiction which brought me a lot of problems in study. I played it every day, no matter day or night. After good night of DOTA I was like "zombie" at college because I did not sleep enought. I fotgot about home tasks and tooe my "D". Secondly, it brought me problems at home. My parents abused me every day that I waste time. You cannot play it only onec a day, you want to play more and more day by day. Thirdly, Playing DOTA allways made me nervous and I felt stress If did not win. Also, sitting in front of a computer for a long time is harmful. Finally I think that it will be advisable for people not play DOTA. Wasting time, health, money and also good relationships with family and education, what is more important that thinking about "heroes which have to be killed" Side: it leads to bad behavior
I would like to ask people who agree that Dota develops people. Do you know some people who have become successful by this way? maybe there are some people have become richer but please, do not forget about a large number of people who play Dota, try to count up the percentage. I believe that you will understand everything, but not sure that you will stop playing, cuz I know how it difficult. Side: it leads to bad behavior
Yes, Videos games has its good sides. I myself play computer games alot. The thing is alot of video games have lead to alot of social conflicts. You are being taught murder, blood, and guts are all good things. That is why I truly belive that video games can lead to bad behavior. Although alot of people dont take it seriously some do and there for dose lead to some social behaviors being innapropriate Side: it leads to bad behavior
Playing a Dota is kind of dependence. I have many friends that played Dota and some of them still playing. i thing Dota is a useless game which separate us from our friend relatives and family, because when you start playing this game once, it is very very difficult to stop. Side: It separeate us from our friends
