reading is easier than writing because there are times you can't write the correct spelling and it may also change the meaning f the whole sentence :)

i think that reading is easier than writing as reading takes you to another world but writing creates that another world. In reading you have to visualize the characters and the reasons for acting the way they do.But a writer has to fill all those details thathelps you to imagine that character and the way he is acting. writing offers a window into the human mind and into our amazingly complex mental capacity.

One can learn to read without learning to write, but I assert that one cannot learn how to write without first learning to read.

As such, reading english is easier than writing english, because writing entails all of the difficulties of reading, and then some.

Reading a gramatically complex sentence is arguably easier than writing one. You take in the information and translate it, and it is already presented properly. But trying to remember the various rules of grammar and writing words correctly is usually going to be a tad more challenging. Especially in our awkward little hybrid language. But I find this true even when I interact with other languages. I don't speak Spanish, but I know a few words and can figure out others by connecting them to their Latin roots. So I can often determine the basic meaning in simple Spanish text, but I can't write anything resembling a coherent and properly spelled Spanish sentence.

This means that you must properly apply grammatical rules since other people will read what you have written and you want them to comprehend exactly what you are trying to convey.
