in your opinion what seperates our 'reality' from the world we invent when we dream?

I would suggest that you have answered this question yourself by using the following two words - Reality and Invent

An individuals reality is what they experience in their daily lives while consciously awake

On the other hand dreams are inventions we create while we sleep that may or may not have any relationship with reality, if we can remember them that is....?

if you look at the creationist argument, a god invented our reality. if that happened to be true, would it be any less real?

Not that much difference really. Awake, our brains respond to sensory input and create an impression of reality for us. Dreaming, our brains respond to sensory input from our subconscious minds and create an impression of reality for us.

Well... you can generally recall reality through sequences of events. Your memory doesn't work like that in dreams.

If you are forgetting 90% of your reality like you do for dreams, you should consult your physician.

but you are talking about your memory of your dreams after you awake.

Yes. I am talking about memories of reality afterwards as well.

Apparently we have no control over the content of our dreams which are largely based on a tangled mixture of our experiences, recent and past, as well as our fears, phobias and desires. In reality we can, or should have a series of targets to achieve that will occur at whatever pace we set and in a manner designed by ourselves.
