Maybe. Are your parents good people? Do they love you? Do they hate each other? Do they take it out on you?

If your parents continuously take things out on you, then I would say no, but in reality they probably love you very much but use you as a pawn thinking they are hurting each other when in fact they are hurting you more than they could ever imagine. I would get you parents into therapy to help them.

It would be nice to think that you could care about them because to care about them even if they have been bad to you is an act of forgiving but in the end of the day you need to worry about yourself first and do what you think is right and what makes you happy/settled/feel better (not sure which statement suited this better but I think you get the picture), if caring about them gets you in the right place mentally then go for it but if not then fuck em, they had their chance and screwed it up. Look after yourself

If you've lived a life where you've been abused, it is perfectly normal to be angry at someone, and feel hate.

In fact, it is very healthy - it means that you're about, or at least trying, to move on (if you haven't already)

Once you dealt with your anger and hatred, you can try to .. just talk to your parents. But if you don't feel comfortable doing that, it is okay.

Some good points have already been brought up, but I'll just add my thoughts as well.

Whatever you're feeling is okay. You can't force yourself to care about someone even if you think you should. Nobody chooses who their parents are, but when you're an adult you can decide for yourself how you should be treated.

I'm sorry that your parents argued and caused you pain. Some people are lucky and have great parents, but unfortunately not everyone can be so lucky. It's completely up to you what you want to do. Just remember that your own feelings and opinions are what count, not what anyone else thinks. It was your childhood and it's your life, so it's your decision.
