I actually don't care for Adele. She is just recycling bullshit that deserved to die decades ago. But when it comes to "sounding like a dying cat", Brian Johnson may be the closest thing popular music has produced.

As far as all the accolades, the general public is easily hoodwinked. Look at the success Lady Gaga has achieved.

Face it, your favorite band is the kind of music retarded people listen to before a night on the town.

Ah, music snobbery, the most retarded form of artistic snobbery. It's telling someone, that what they like is shit, simply because you think something sounds better.

Imagine it was said like this:

"What!, you like that particular air vibration in your ears, that's really shit vibration, listen to this vibration, it's sooooo much better."

People enjoy music for a variety of different reasons, just because more Scenesters agree with you, doesn't make your taste the only one.

My problems with ACDC:

1. Lyrical content: pretty much none. Every song is pretty much about how badass the band thinks they are or glorifying some kind of psuedo-fictious reality they want to live in. This lyrical content is precisely why I despise a lot of top 40 hip hop too.

2. The voice: Even if their songs had any meaning, I would not appreciate being constantly screeched at. Played loud, his voice gives me a headache.

3. The music: a bit better than the American cock rock that dominated the airwaves in the 80s, but still too cookie cutter and predictable for my taste. Musically, all of their songs blend together for me, and I often have to wait for the chorus to start before I can determine which song it is.

4. I simply can't relate to it in any way, shape or form.

As far as Dylan...meh. Not horrible, but not personally relevant or interesting to me. Great for its time, but I don't live in that time.
