You are not aloud to use or have phones in school but what if we used phones for good instead of a destraction.

Yes, they should. They provide means of communication, accessibility, and convenience. Students enjoy school more when they have their phones, and can do things like look up facts and other things school related. While I admit they can be distracting at times, the teacher is supposed to make their class interesting, and if they fail to do so, that is not the student's fault. Side: yes they should

If your inability to distinguish between the words "aloud" and "allowed" is an example of a school cell phone user, then, no, cell phones shouldn't be allowed to be used during class in schools. As far as I know, cell phones aren't allowed to be used during class in TX. Side: no they shouldn't
