There are about 21 million teenagers (ages 15-19) who lived in America in 2008 - these numbers are usually quite stable, and they usually don't change drastically from year to year.
On eart about 51% of us are women - in the US about 50.9% of you are women. The reason why women are the majority is because we live longer than men.
So I think we can conclude that of those 21 million, a little over half of them are females. Let's just say 11 millions .. I'm too lazy to do the math, but I don't think 11 million is that far off from the real result.
With these number I have calculated that out of every 24 girls, one of them will have a baby. Let's not forget, that the chance of getting pregnant after having sex only one time is about 11%. So if 1 out of 24 girls got pregnant, that means probably 8 or 9 more had sex, but were lucky enough to not get pregnant.
Le'ts not forget either, that probably some of those 24 girls were smart enough to use a condom.
With one getting pregnant, 9 more having sex without getting pregnant, and some more who had protected sex, I think we can conclude that about half of the teenage girls in US had a one night stand, and since they need a partner to have sex, we can conclude that about half of all teenagers in the US have had a one night stand.
A source has told me, that little over 40% of all children born in America are born out of wedlock, or as I call it - the result of one night stands.
So there you have it; One night stand is a norm, and about half of all babies from the year 2010 to now are proof of that.
