Only in severe cases where there isn't a doubt that the person is guilty. I agree with the death penalty mostly because I find it to be a waste of resource to house and feed a convicted felon, especially one who will have an extremely hard time reintegrating into society because of a brutal crime they have committed. Side: yes yes yes !!!

No, I honestly don't believe the state has the right to take the life of someone. Also, giving someone the dealth penalty instead of giving them a life sentence is in a way an easy way out. But I'm not ingoring the fact it takes decades for those convicted to actually be put to death due to appeals and so on. Side: noooooo

Hell no. No one deserves to die, even if they have killed. There is always time for repenting and if someone has killed they have to go to prison and be punished morally and rethink what they have done, something like murder will be with you every day of your life. Why kill them and give them the easy way out anyway? Side: noooooo

Your statement here isn't in correlation with the debate question, which I think you were aiming for. The correct way to phrase it would be "Should taco bell start selling tacos?". Since it already does ot won't make any sense. The debate question asks "Should the death penalty be legalized?", even though it already is. Your question is answerable and makes sense. You should be aiming for a question that doesn't make sense to give comedy to the wording of the debate. Side: noooooo
