Please, I beg you to go to and look at actual statistics. ISIS is killing half of Asia and all of Europe? Half of Africa is starving? Mexico is run by drug dealers. Please tell me where you got those statistics from.

ISIS doesn't make up the world. The drug cartels don't make up Mexico. The news reports the negative, it's what sells. The world is a good place and people have the capacity to be good. Whenever you see a tragedy just look towards the helpers. The people who risk life and limb, even if it's not their job, or the people who give money/food/water/help to others less fortunate, hell, even the people who risk death to rescue animals, then you'll start to see something better. Until then, get your head out of the media's control and start thinking and seeing things for yourself. Look for the helpers.

You don't remember when Hitler and Tojo and Mussolini were REALLY killing much of the world. I do. After that N. Korea and China and the N. Vietnamese killed in a few months MORE than ISIS and bin Laden's bunch put together! It was a good thing our government took control (and didn't have to get permission state by state!). It's a good thing our government had enough control to fight the USSR and Putin's KGB and develop deterrence measures, keep U.S. from nuclear war. It's a good thing our Presidents listened to our humint, and took steps to protect U.S.! We weren't in AS MUCH a "world of shit" until the last few weeks! Later, I may agree with you. I'll miss Obama's message of "hope".

With the number of anti-climate change "appointees" in the new "swamp", ISIS is the last thing I will worry about. Our new POTUS scares me FAR more than they do!
