I want to long drawn out debates so I can learn as much as possible. I like debating with Quocalimar because we usually drag out really long chains of arguments and we always come to a conclusion that neither of us are getting anywhere. I learn alot from him though. I favor the long debates.

Learning is more important that winning. Even if we can't come to an agreement, we will at least have a better understanding of each others stance on the issue. A long drawn out debate is also beneficial to the other people on the site that are not participating the debate, because they get to see a clear view of both sides.

I live to learn. Call that my 'meaning to life'.

Life would be no fun for me if everything came easily. I want the highs of winning with the lows of losing, and all the education in between.

Gotta go with the people above me, long debates where I can learn and improve. I'm going to win anyway, so I may as well learn as much as I can before that happens.

One of the reasons I hate people who don't think and just spout out useless garbage in an attempt to "Win!" by virtue of being the loudest, noisiest and most irritating and immature, so everyone cedes the debate just to be done with them.
