Even though I sometimes strongly dislike some of the rules that the government enforces, I do think that it is necessary. Without a government I believe that the United states would be in complete chaos. We would have no one regulating things like drinking water and food which could lead to mass sickness. Stores would all close because of looting and armed robberies. Whoever has guns would have all the power. Not only would the U.s be in chaos, we likely wouldn't even be the u.s anymore because we wouldn't have an army to defend ourselves.
