I think that government is necessary for many reasons. If we didn’t have a government, the world would be filled with chaos. The government hires people such as police, so there would be crime everywhere. Wars would constantly be declared; the government would no longer decide if it was a just reason for war. Another reason why we need the government is so that we know what is safe. Something as simple as drinking water out of the faucet, or seeing what the weather is for the day- the government makes sure the water doesn’t have bacteria, or in case of severe weather storms, that you are safe and prepared. All in all, I believe that government is necessary to keep people safe and the world at peace.
