Although I agree with some of your sentiment, your overall opinion is littered with falsehoods. Government often times does its finest work where no one sees it. Fixing roads, helping the less fortunate, and creating just laws are only some of the many small jobs done by government. Not everything done by government “creates new problems.” Often times these situations arise from a select few who abuse their power at the highest levels of government. This being said, the idea that government makes the world a more dangerous and complex place is false. When looking at the world in a long-term view you see that government has helped shape where we are today. New technologies are rapidly growing and we are in a much better place than we were, say 100 years ago. This is all true because of one simple reason, government.
Government is a vital part in our everyday lives. It has the power to alter history and determine the way others live. It gives us necessities such as healthcare, protection in war, and safety to the poor (working laws/ payments). These basic benefits are what make government so crucial. Without it many small issues may become to great to handle. The structure that is provided with government keeps people in check and gives them the ability to be functioning members in society. Furthermore, without government countries across the globe would be lacking in many of the technological and social advances they see today. This is true because of the interactions between many governments. There is a give and take from one country to another that without a ruling authority, could never happen. It is for these reasons that government has become central to how the world works, and why I feel living under a government is the best decision we can make.
