To start, I agree that taxes are annoying and involuntary. However, taxes are crucial to pay for public services. If your house caught on fire and you didn't live under a government, who would you call for help? To add, how could you ensure whatever system of education is implied to meet decent standards? There would be no basic laws to prevent catastrophes or create initiative to have good morals. And finally, what personal freedoms would you gain without government? At least in America were given rights as citizens that seem decently fair to me.

Having a government is crucial in a country's success. Governments provide a structure in which is universally understood throughout the country. A great example of this structure is through laws. If their were no laws in an anti government country, there would be chaos. Along with laws, governments also provide many other things such as public safety, educational systems and a military. These services along with many more exist because of the social contract theory. When governments distribute power it ensures stability of the state because not one person is making the decisions. Who wouldn't want to be protected by a military and given vital resources? Finally, governments when done right can positively impact a country economically and socially. However, when done wrong, governments can strip away freedom, rights and privacy. All in all, having a government is a crucial aspect of running a country.
