I disagree with your argument because the idea of a government is to keep peace, maintain order, and protect peoples basic rights. What you mentioned is a corrupt government, not all governments are like that. There are many governments around the world that accurately represent the true meaning of a government. By making money you have to have human interaction, which does not remove yourself from society. In fact it most likely pushes you closer because you can relate with others who are working a lot.

Government is necessary because without it,society would not be able to function properly. Thomas Jefferson once said “ If men were angels government would not be necessary.”

Order is a need for any type of society to work. Government also provides protection and Justice for its citizens. For example the government provides police to enforce the laws so every citizen can be safe. Military is the armed forces of a country which protect the entire country from foreign enemies, the government is in charge of the military. Laws are made for the safety of others, its so that people can't kill or steal. Government makes for a better and more productive state of people, in the United States Preamble it says to promote the general welfare. Governments are here to protect basic right rights.
