Though people are occasionally drafted into the military, most people actually choose whether to serve in the armed forces or not. And even in a draft, their are exceptions to who has to serve. Also, without a government, people would still have disputes with other countries, most likely over land. But then we wouldn't be able to fight back, because having no government means having no real military. We would even fight with each other over land and money.
I believe that living under a government is a good thing for many reasons. For one, having a government provides many leadership opportunities to the people. Many governments lets almost all of it's citizens run for a government position. Also, in a democracy, everyone's opinions are heard and spoken. This can happen in either and Representative Democracy,or in a Direct Democracy. Also, governments also provide many services such as law enforcement. If there was no government, there would be no qualified people to enforce the rules. Governments also make laws and public policies. Neither of these would exist in a world without a government. That is why living under a government is better than living without one.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
