As Sen. William Peffer & Sen. William Allen, we believe that the people do have the right as long as they don't pose a threat to the government. This could be a way to sending a message to the government that they have to listen to and consider that person(s) idea(s). As stated by John Locke in the Constitution, the first amendment gives all citizens the right to freedom of speech and freedom to petition the government and included in the citizen's inalienable rights.
Yes, because everyone everyday are on social media at least once. So everyone could include their opinions, thoughts,and reasons why they disagree with someone else on a topic. If there is a debate, then they'll just argue it out then be on their business. Which could or would lead to making an argument worse to the point where violence and other actions are taken into the conflict.
No because, as stated by the city manager, lack of resources to ensure protection of innocent by standers. The spread of violence could spread if the surrounding people agree that the anniversary would only promote anger and tension between each other.
No, because the first amendment said it has to be peacefully. So if this march turns violent after I make my decision of saying that it's gonna be violent, then I have the right to punish the party members for causing mass hysteria for the surrounding citizens without hearing from the public.
