Hello, Amanda from 2e3 here.

I totally agree with you!During classroom debating we are able to feel the dense atmostphere of the debate but in online debate we cant. I also agree with you that we are not able to see the person feel and look in online debates.

Hi, this is Amanda Lim from 2e3.

I disagree that online debating is more interesting than classroom debating.I feel that classroom debating is more interesting as we are able to see how the person look when he or she debates. At times, it is very interesting to see live debate, looking at what the debators' reactions are. On the other hand, online debating are just merely words.

Secondly, online debating may not be safe. People who join in the debate may say very mean things to fight our stand. They may insult, scold vulgarities and others. These things may hurt people deeply. While in classroom debates, debators will becareful of what they will be saying. Trying best not to offend anyone.

Thirdle,Classroom debates allow debators to think on the spot. This will help the debators in their thinking skills. But for online debates, debators do not really need to think very hard on how to fight the opponent's stand. The online debators would be a little more slack compared to classroom debators.

Amanda has not yet created any debates.
