I belive sonic is better than mario but imma give both sides some streghths of what i know of
Sonic
1.faster than the speed of sound
2.He is actually stronger than people thing (he moves big objects out his way) play some of the games
3.Super sonic makes sonic invinceable sucky spell for as long as he has the cahos emeralds
4.Cahos control as long as he has emeralds (ppl who dont know it freezes you in time for a certen ammount of time)
5.He goes right through most metal objects like -cough- robots -cough- i dont think human flesh can wistand that at all
6.Ring power

2.kinda faster than a normal human
3.Star power when star is there very limited time
4Mushrooms (grows bigger)
5.Flowers (Fire power)
6.Hats dosent know much about hats (metal mario, invisibl marioshort time)

Thats all i can think of for both of there powers reason y i think that sonic would win is well mario is human he is not gonna see a blue cannon ball comeing at him at the speed of sound...andi dont think a human can surivive a hit like that (or anything else)
