Satellite imaging clearly indicate that Kuwait had stole oil from Iraq as it is the only one with motive to do so.

Iraq's main source of income is via oil. Kuwait overshot the quota set by OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries), resulting in decline of oil prices, directly affecting Iraq's main source of revenue. Therefore, as Iraq felt threatened by Kuwait and believed that Kuwait was trying to start an economic war with Iraq. Kuwait knew that Iraq was in dept from the Iran-Iraq war. Knowing this, Kuwait had blatantly drilled for more oil to prevent Iraq's economy from recovering. In retaliation, Iraq then begun the war with Kuwait to protect its national intrest.

Yes, I agree that public libraries no longer have a place due to advancements in technology. Like you said, obtaining online copies of reading materials is a lot more convenient as we can find what we might require much easier online. Also, although libraries may have a huge variety of books and magazines, there are still situations where certain books cannot be found. Therefore, with online sources that we can access to obtain these reading materials, it is a lot more efficient and convenient to read with E-books, rather than going to public libraries to borrow hard copy reading materials.

Not every reading material on the Internet has to be purchased to be obtained. Even though they may have infringed the copyright of the writer of the book by obtaining the E-book without purchasing it, the reason why these materials are uploaded on the Internet free-of-charge is due to the advancements in technology. This means that the whole world is capable for accessing these files and download them whenever they want to, and the copyright holder would not be able to stop this from happening, no matter how illegal it may be and how much one wants to stop the obtaining of these materials illegally. Therefore, even if readers may not be keen on spending money to purchase books from E-book stores, the use of technology to illegally obtain these materials still stands. This makes public libraries useless in this case(only this case), as it will be easier to access materials on the Internet rather than an actual book where we have to be in the library to actually access.

Public libraries are no longer required as technology advances to the point such that we only need to access the web to obtain any sort of information that we may need for gaining knowledge, or purely just to read for enjoyment. When there is a particular book that we may wish to read, there is a very high possibility that the book has already been posted up onto the Internet as an eBook in the form of a Portable Document Format(PDF). This would just require a click of the mouse to access these reading materials without having to leave our homes to borrow the books, which would be a hassle, especially when these materials are required for formal work and it is hard to access a public library. Therefore, with the advancements in technology, this allows us to be able to easily access any sort of reading materials any time we want to, as long as there is access to the Internet.
