justin, i have to say that the comment you made that ps3 is unhackable shot all your credibility to hell.
Yes, the graphics for the PS3 are better, yes, it has BluRay, and yes, PSN is free. That being said, though, almost everything for the Xbox is just so much better.
1. Id much rather be able to function in a game with pretty high-quality graphics than just stare at a lake in a game with graphics that are on par with looking upon the face of Jesus Christ himself.
2. The game library is so extensive for the 360. Many old Xbox games are still backwards compatible with the 360, adding even more titles to the ridiculous amount of good games in the collection. There are very few exclusives for the 360, but the ones that do make it through can compare to any two exclusives on PS3 and still come out on top. A true example of quality over quantity (at least in the case of the exclusives).
3. The gameplay of any multiplatform game tends to be better on the 360. I havent figured out what exactly it is that makes this true, but everyone Ive talked to, 360 and PS3 fanboys alike, prefer to play games, such as Bioshock, on the Xbox.
4. The fact that most tend to hit too many buttons on the PS3 controller, due to its small size, when in particularly hairy situations in games doesn't help its case. Many who say the Xbox controller is too big simply havent taken the time to get used to the ergonomic correctness of it. Maybe the fact that the buttons and triggers are perfectly spaced for normal sized hands hasnt dawned on the PS3 masses.
Well, that was fun.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
