There is also the Moral Imperative, in which case you would sacrifice one life to save two, etc.
Put another way, there is a pram with a baby on the railway track. There is equally a blind man. Which one do you save? Through inaction for the other one, they are being killed, by you.
I have to say "no" here because of the wording of the question.
In principle, I am all for using words wherever: I believe a word should only have such meaning attached to it as its definition, and in the case of reclaimed words (like nigga), the meaning comes from the intention.
However, society in general doesn't think so. Because you ask if it's ok, I have to say no.
Also, you say when "used to represent a friend". Even if this person is your friend, depending on who you're talking to, if you say "he's my nigga", and the person you're talking to isn't aware of the depth/closeness of your relationship, it may be misinterpreted.
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
