As a high school student, my only complaint is the lack of sufficiently diverse language programs. I was strong-armed into taking Latin due to the Spanish and French classes being full. I believe that mandatory languages are applicable for all grade levels (I erred by specifying to high school only), to both educate students on different cultures, and to prepare them for the workplace.
I understand what you are saying; in essentiality, I am just trying to promote healthy debate regarding Constitutional interpretation, as well as seeing what the majority of the people here think regarding the current interpretation.
Although the theory doesn't allow for a specific "point", as it defies time, the Big Bang Theory very well could have "happened". Although there is no solid, unarguable proof for it, there is nothing to disprove it either. So, as a matter of my opinion, I do chose to believe the Big Bang Theory.
But things that are logically right are not always morally right, things that are legally right are not always either of the two. I am in no way condoning performing illegal activities, rather, I am supporting protests against Judicial rulings which people disagree with. If there is enough support, it could be overturned. The point is, there are many different "rights" in the world; you may be referring to the legal fashion, in which case you would be correct, as they are the highest Judicial power in the land; however, I was referring to moral and logical rightness, which are completely different. Regardless, that was a miscommunication on my part, and I apologize for not clarifying prior.
If there is undeniable evidence that someone has performed rape, murder, or cannibalism, I believe that the death penalty should be applied. Although this may seem harsh, it is my belief that this will keep society more civil, given that one will be killed for their crimes, instead of sitting in a prison cell receiving free medicine, food, and even earning degrees. Once a human being has broken the law in any of the aforementioned manners, they are "too far gone", not to mention the money saved by not having prisons filled with dangerous and possibly mentally unstable criminals. That way, more money can be allocated to more deserving programs, such as better rehabilitation programs for drug users and better government healthcare programs for those who need it.
Your views on Christianity are biased, watered-down, and generally ignorant. Now, I will begin by saying, although I am a deep-seated Atheist, I believe in religious freedom. Now, Christianity is derived from Judaism, which was no doubt based on some Graeco-Roman or Mesopot, etc. Regardless, I can't think of any major religion which has a background history consisting of "campfire tales". Your entire premises is simply not sufficient for debate; rather, it seems you are content with "flaming". While Christianity/Judaism may have been influenced by astronomy (I am not sure whether you actually meant to say astrology, which is different), the Bible could not have been purely based upon some archaic form of astronomy. Over the course of human history, the true origins of the old religions have been lost to us, and as such, there is no truly arguable point to make here. They may have been "primitive campfire tales", they may have been human political machinations, they may have even been records of extraterrestrial encounters (that was a joke).
